School Feeding Programme

Hunger and malnutrition can limit a child’s potential to learn, grow, and excel in life. To address these challenges, Goodluck Sports Foundation Uganda launched the School Feeding Programme (SFP) at Kitswamba Moslem Primary School in Kasese District, Western Uganda. This program aims to provide nutritious meals to 130 vulnerable children.

While it currently focuses on Kitswamba, our goal is to expand and benefit more children in neighboring districts over time.

The School Feeding Programme was designed to:

    • Provide daily nutritious meals during school hours and sports activities.
    • Combat malnutrition, improving the health and well-being of students.
    • Increase school attendance by encouraging children to stay in school.
    • Enhance academic and sports performance, allowing children to excel both in the classroom and on the field.

    Expected Outcomes:

    1. Increased Attendance Rates: More consistent school participation among children.
    2. Improved Academic and Sports Performance: Students engage actively in both academics and sports.
    3. Better Health and Nutrition: Children’s overall health is enhanced.
    4. Stronger Community Impact: Promoting education and fostering community involvement.
    5. Positive Human Capital Development: Contributing to Uganda’s future workforce and national growth.

For just UGX 35,000, you can provide one child with meals for the entire 85-day school term. No child should learn on an empty stomach—your support makes this possible.
